Overview
Der Vorgesetzte Colley Shorter der ehrgeizigen Arbeiterin Clarice Cliff in einer englischen Töpfereifabrik in den 1920er Jahren entdeckt, dass seine Mitarbeiterin künstlerisches Talent hat. Er gibt ihr eine Chance, ihrem Talent freien Lauf zu lassen, woraufhin sie sich beweisen darf. In der von Männern geprägten Fabrik entwirft sie ihre revolutionäre Art-Déco-Kollektion namens "Bizarre". Ihr Weg und die Zukunft der Fabrik scheint trotz der folgenden Weltwirtschaftskrise gesichert.
