Overview
Moe van het opgesloten te zijn in een reptielenhuis waar mensen naar hen staren alsof ze monsters zijn, beraamt een groep van Australische, dodelijke wezens een gewaagde ontsnapping. Maddie, een giftige slang met een hart van goud, Zoe, een bergduivel, Frank, een harige spin die verliefd is en Nigel, een gevoelige schorpioen, willen naar de outback, een plek waar ze in vrede kunnen leven zonder te worden beoordeeld op hun uiterlijk. Hun aartsvijand, de schattige maar onaangename koala Pretty Boy, doet onverwachts mee. Eenmaal ontsnapt beginnen ze aan een grootse reis door Australië, terwijl ze achtervolgd worden door dierenverzorger Chaz en zijn trawant.
